Black Tie Club Palm Springs is a private men’s club celebrating accomplished, professional, and distinguished men.  It is a gathering place for gay men to enjoy fine food, the best of wines and the ability to build lasting friendships.

Our chapter is affiliated with Black Tie Club International which offers an annual Convergence (being held this spring in San Francisco) and gatherings throughout the US and Canada.  Black Tie International also plans elaborate exciting vacations open to all club members.

Currently, Black Tie Club of Palm Springs offers two formal functions per year.  A spring celebration in April and a celebration during Pride Week.  The goal of the club for 2025 is to increase get togethers to quarterly informal cocktail parties, casual dinner get togethers and just having fun and building friendships amongst our community.

How to become a Black Tie Club member

• Membership into Black Tie Cub is on an annual basis
• Applicants must have a Coachella Valley residence at least 6 months a year
• Applicants must attend at least one Palm Springs Black Tie Club formal dinner within a 12 month period.

What to expect

Black Tie Club of Palm Springs has a strong commitment to local vendors and venues.  In the past formal functions have been held at venues like PS Underground, 849, Spencer’s, Mission Hill Country Club and other Palm Spring destinations. Formal functions are always preceded by an informal cocktail party at the home of a club member where great wine and spirits are served with delicious hors-d’oeuvres.
